Ocean view

We live right near the ocean and I love the the breeze, smells and sound from the water coming in and out of the bay. Sometimes I forget how close we are and get taken by surprise of how beautiful it is down there. Promise to myself: more power walks by the sea side.

Breakfast in the sun

I have had a great, relaxing day that started off with a delicious breakfast in company with my boyfriend and little puppy on the couch. We then went for a long walk down the bay and I am now about to have a couple of wines with beautiful friends. Saturday bliss.

... to little Rufus, our 8 weeks old puppy. He's a great little man and you will definitely see more of him here.

Bedroom Inspiration

A couple of months ago my partner and I bought our very first house. I absolutely love it, it's an older house with character and lots to do. My very first project is the master bedroom and I'm thinking light and romantic colours with a touch of vintage. I will post some photos of little bits and pieces during the process but here is my inspiration.

Midsummer Bloom

I just received this photo that the beautiful Natalie Lynn has taken for her Wedding business. It reminds me of the Swedish midsummer and I have decided to throw a midsummer party when it starts getting a little warmer. Maybe we could be in a park somewhere around Brisbane. Anyways, I'm now making a cup of tea and crashing down on the couch :)

My Wish List

This is my little 'wish list' for the rest of 2011. I've started making cushions with my own prints on them so I need to find a cheap sewing machine to finish it all, I'm pretty excited actually.. will post a picture when they're done. I'm also in need of a great camera for my studio set of lights, this time I'm thinking a Canon 5D (not the cheapest) but extremely good :) Well, I guess I need a piggy-bank first of all...

Rainbow Beach

I had an amazing weekend up the coast with my baby. We drove up to Rainbow Beach and stayed over night. It is the best feeling to wake up to the sunrise with the whole beach to yourself. I feel very inspired at the moment, it's funny how one weekend can make you so relaxed and ready to start new little projects. I've got one coming but I'll post more about it as soon as my prints has arrived.
